In case anyone missed it last night, #11 Hawaii lost at home to 3-11 UC Irvine...pretty massive upset. And Rutgers took a set from Minny tonight!
Poor Hawaii... after such a promising start to the season, it looks like injuries will derail their good start. I have commented that I think Rutgers is more talented than people are giving them credit for.
I hope they get their RPI and Pablo up.

Glad to see the cheeseheads roll over Nebraska. I don't like them, But I dislike Nebraska even more. I have 2 teams I root for good ole PSU and anyone who plays Nebraska.

Thanks for bringing up games and results that "aren't on the list." I like when participants bring our attention to developments outside of our normal areas of focus. I haven't taken the time to do this, so I especially appreciate you sharing your take on what's going on "out there."

Observations on MI v OSU. Sorry: The OSU.
1) If you should travel to the new Covelli Center -- which sold out today -- it is very, very small. If they play PSU there, don't expect same day tix I suspect. Unless they revert to St. Johns. Looks nice, but why spend $$$ on a venue that cannot hold your crowd? Built for 3700 volleyball capacity, not sure about other sports there. But they basically said they will never be in the top 10 in attendance. What a sad approach. Of course, count me as one of those very surprised that Carlston is still there and as long as he's there ... it gives me no joy to say ... I don't think they're going to be as competitive as they once hoped.
2) Taylor Sandbothe's kid sister is now playing OH for Carlston. Believe she was BIG 12 second team at K St. Senior transfer. ?!?
3) Carlston did not use his last remaining challenge (if I have that right) on match point. Does he only do that to PSU? Lol.
4) MI...or is it Rosen...or does it matter...has never started the season with 4 wins. Now they have 5. Their schedule helped, but still...
5) Paige Jones, MI OH (stay with me...Michigan Outside Hitter, LOL) is good. Very good. Scary Megan Courtney kind of 6-Ro player good. Be warned.
