Well, that was fun. 🙃 Wisconsin wins it 3-1.
At least we made it to the Sweet 16 round.
Here's to hoping KSC picks up a couple good pins from the portal.
See you all next season.

If I dare say I’m puzzled by the lack of substitutions in a match we made this many errors, is someone really going to tell me it was well coached?

If I dare say I’m puzzled by the lack of substitutions in a match we made this many errors, is someone really going to tell me it was well coached? I think it's fair to wonder about the lack of substitutions - I was wondering the same... But without having knowledge on how the bench is doing during practice or the team's health... It's hard to judge whether the lack of substitutions is bad coaching, or a coaching staff knowing the limits of their roster. That said, I do wish some other players could have subbed in, but that's because I'm a fan of some of the backups... Though I'm not confident that they would have made a difference vs. Wisconsin. In the end, I'm proud that the team didn't give up, and even took a set from the team that swept the #1 team a couple weeks ago. I wish the outcome would have been different, but sometimes even when you try your best, someone else is better... sometimes much better.

Sad outcome. Lack of height on our side definitely hurt. Excited to see which additions we may see during the off season, and crossing my fingers no one departs.

Plus, who should have been subbed in? I'd say not the freshmen. Markley comes to mind, but she hasn't played well since Iowa. You certainly are entitled to your opinion. I am not convinced by it.

With PSU WVB getting crushed and Manny Diaz leaving, both within a few hours, I'd say this is a day that will live in Penn State infamy.

Hard to match up when Wisconsin has more than 1 player who is almost 7 feet tall and has great talent. And they feed them that Wisconsin cheese. We will bring in our new excellent recruits, and perhaps some from the portal...and feed them our ice cream from the Creamery.
