Wisconsin takes Illinois. I think game film of this match will be of great use to Russ and his team. I have seen Illini like this before. They played like this when Penn State played them a couple of years ago and they looked like they were afraid of Penn State. Seems like they were pretty tentative tonight against Badgers.
Also, Florida goes down again. This time against Missouri. They still have Arkansas coming up. Not looking good for Florida to take SEC if they keep playing like this.
In a late match, it was a wild one going 5 between Stanford and Arizona with Stanford coming out the winner by outlasting Arizona 17-15 in set 5.

Good for them. Florida, yikes! They were up on Missouri 2-0 and had an 11-3 lead in the 3rd set. That's some collapse. Thanks for the Stanford update; it ended too late for me. Nice road win for them (and by association for PSU).

I couldn't be happier to see Ohio State win. Wow, that just made my day.

Forgot to mention the five-setter Arkansas won over #9 Florida. Is it Floida's talent that is over-rated, or its coaching?

Forgot to mention the five-setter Arkansas won over #9 Florida. Is it Floida's talent that is over-rated, or its coaching? If they have trouble with Mississippi State and Auburn, I'd get worried.

Neither, necessarily, in my current opinion. This is an experienced, well-coached Arkansas team who defeated a talented Florida team. The addition of Pilar is a real bonus. Florida's left sides didn't contribute what was needed--even though they hit for a better percentage than Arkansas. Ziva coming off some sort of tweak/injury wasn't "on". Plus, Florida paid a high price for the 20-some service and serve-receive errors. Coaches can't play the game for the players. With more than three consecutive conference losses, the answer to your question could be either or both.

That's 3 losses in a row by Florida. They are finally understanding what if feels like to play in a highly competitive conference where there is more than just one strong team!
