It's so nice that you're able to get the game quotes up while we're "still in the glow of victory".

It's interesting; reading about Brooklyn Hill, Emily Sciorra, coming in and playing well. I remember Kristin Krause coming in against (I think) Nebraska in the 5th set. I remember thinking, what? Hadn't seen her in a long time and she came in and did well. It's quite a testimony to how RR prepares the players that these girls can come in at pressure situations and perform well. I remember a quote from quite a while ago where an announcer was talking about PSU and asking, "How does RR get them to play so well in pressure situations" i.e Final Fours etc?

"Blossom set a new career high with five kills and added 48 assists, 10 digs, three blocks, and an ace." Nice.
"Four Nittany Lions recorded double-digit kills against the Badgers."
WOW!!

I always leave immediately after the games, but I hung around last night because I wanted speak with Emily. She was a big contributor and a difference maker in that game. It was noticed and I felt she needed to know that from someone she doesn't even know.
I don't think she grasped anything I said(haha) because she was full of emotions, while she was receiving hugs from former players and teammates. Great job Emily!

OK, I was off-line flying into a blizzard in Denver. I'm sure my absence had something to do with this. You're all welcome.

BTW...gopsusports.com called the win "A Reverse Sweep." Apt.
