Here’s a recap of tonight’s 3-1 win over Towson at Rec Hall featuring quotes from Russ Rose, Kendall White, Jonni Parker, and Lauren Clark, who tallied a career-high three aces. The Nittany Lions will play Cincinnati in the Sweet 16 in Stanford, California, after the Bearcats upset No. 6 seed Pitt in five sets. Thanks, Ethan, love to read coach Rose's take on the games, He is an educator, who gives you perspective on the game. And congratulations to Kendall on her achievement, now she just needs 31 more for 2000, may she attain that goal which would mean PSU will play a lot more this year.

Kendall's observation about Lauren's serve in morning practice was interesting. Coach often says that players who do well in practice can get into the match.

Kendall's observation about Lauren's serve in morning practice was interesting. Coach often says that players who do well in practice can get into the match. I was questioning earlier in the season when Lauren serving whether she should be serving. I should have realized that Coach doesn't put people out on the floor that don't have a chance to perform well. If they're out on the floor, they have performed well in practice during the previous week. Edit: or maybe PSU is out of substitutions.  |

3 aces in a 4-setter? Those are Hancock numbers. Similar numbers but different serving technique but same result. I love Hancock. And I never thought I’d ever love any one more then blair brown but Hancock is number one on my list. She is my all time favorite psu player. Shame on you for bringing up Hancock. You know how long it took me to get over that name 😁 |
