Here’s a recap of tonight’s 3-2 win over Cincinnati at Maples Pavilion. The Nittany Lions hit .445 as a team and had three players with at least 14 kills (Jonni Parker, Tori Gorrell, Serena Gray) on their way to a third straight Elite Eight and 18th in program history. Shoutout to Penn State women's volleyball SID Matt Jackson for sending along the postgame audio, which features quotes from Parker, Gorrell, and Russ Rose. I also added quotes from Cincinnati's Jordan Thompson and head coach Molly Alvey. www.dignittanyvolleyball.com/penn-state-womens-volleyball-beats-cincinnati-3-2-to-reach-elite-eight/

PSU hitting .445 as a team -- and going to 5? May be the weirdest stat in history.

I was thinking the exact same thing, Nyline. Those service aces really hurt in the beginning, but what a fantastic display of resilience coming back from down 2-1. That dominant fourth set and a great start to the fifth were so much fun to watch.

Ethan Kasales writing what -- 10 articles in the past five or six days ( after reading them all, I'm too tired to count'em). I don't know if folks appreciate the level of effort that takes, but trust me, it's YUGE!

I also appreciated seeing quotes from Thompson and Coach Alvey. Great work as always.
