I found this neat Sophie Fischer article by Megan Kaplon on FloVolleyball (published Dec. 13) and figured I would post it here so everyone can check it out if they haven’t seen it already. Fischer, a former North Carolina commit, is the only Under Armour All-American who is still uncommitted in the 2020 recruiting class. She’s coming off consecutive South Carolina state championships for Nation Ford High School and could claim Gatorade state player of the year honors for a second time when it’s announced in January. Fischer was in attendance at Rec Hall for Penn State’s final two matches of the regular season against Wisconsin and Minnesota. Nebraska is also rumored to be a main contender for her national letter of intent. Earning a signature from the 6-foot-5 outside hitter would be huge for Russ Rose’s Nittany Lions. www.flovolleyball.tv/articles/6612702-under-armour-all-american-profile-sophie-fischerHere’s the press release from Gatorade when she won state player of the year following her junior season: playeroftheyear.gatorade.com/poy/assets/writable/52501/2019_VB_SFischer.pdf

Thanks, Ethan, good article, I especially like her sentiment on working hard, nothing in life comes free or easy, seems to me this young lady has that figured out. Welcome Annie may you provide the spark to get us another championship.
