Gabby Blossom and Jenna Hampton are in uniform tonight for the Nittany Lions. Lauren Clark, Allie Holland, and Sophie Walls remain in street clothes for the second night in a row.
Update: Blossom and Hampton changed into sweats just before the match got underway.

Be interesting to see what this match is like. I think that ILL didn't play up to their potential last night as it seemed that they played better against Wisc. Tho, it could be that they were just up for the Wisc match and weren't up for the PSU match, especially considering that PSU had two main starters out. It'll be interesting to see the dynamics of the 2nd match in two nights against the same team. Not sure it that helps one team or the other. Off the top of my head, it would seem to favor the team that adjusts better. I would give that edge to Coach. However, that doesn't take into consideration the moods of the two teams and whether they are up or down for the match. I guess we'll find out  |

It just struck me, that one of the questions about the 2020-2021 team was answered last night. I wondered what the leadership would be like on team. You know that Jonni Parker / Gabby would be leaders on this team. But without Jenna and Gabby, this team came together last night and showed a lot of gumption (or True Grit ). That bodes well for the future. Also, having Anastasiya for 3 (mb 4?) years is looking better and better. Our outside hitting is looking up! Reminds me of a line a few years back. Someone said that PSU needed some OH's. And someone,(mb Nyline?) replied, "And in breaking news, Julius Caesar has been assassinated". |

Just signed in from England - no Big10 Network here so relying on you Ethan for lots of updates! 11.30pm and in bed here so staying awake is going to be a challenge, especially with my sleeping wife next to me! Go Lions!!
