The down ref tonight was much more willing to reverse very close calls than is typical.

Even though Rutgers is a pick up team, these sweeps help to build team confidence.
Commentary was actually informative and related to this match for the most part.

And the line judge on the RU side had two really bad calls...the ?Parker? one that Coach challenged and won and later he raised his flag on a Parker K that hit 2 players. Don't know what's w/ that.

I was just remembering that the announcers mentioned that Rutgers only has 12 players on their roster. The coach of Rutgers only had 5 players on the roster when she took over. She had to scramble just to get enough players to just fill out the roster.

I also liked hearing that the RU coaches' mom was rooting against her (for PSU), and the comment that Jonni's skills and accomplishments "break" volley ball metrics. |
