AAC • Penn State is 33-6 all-time against current members of the American Athletic Conference. • The Lions have played seven of the 11 teams in the AAC and are unbeaten against five of those teams. SCOUTING UCF • UCF has won three straight AAC titles on its way to three consecutive appearances in the NCAA Tournament. The Knights advancd to the NCAA Second Round in 2019 with a win over Florida State. • The Knights are 68-14 overall and 40-2 in the AAC over the past three seasons. • UCF was picked first in the AAC Preseason Poll. • Outside hitter McKenna Melville was voted the AAC Preseason Player of the Year. She is the reigning AAC Player of the Year after averaging 4.55 kills/set last season. ALL-B!G HONORS ON ROSTER • Penn State enters the 2021 season with more All-Big Ten honors on the roster than it ended the previous season with. • Returning players Gabby Blossom (two), Kaitlyn Hord (three) and Jonni Parker (three) have a combined eight All-Big Ten honors, while incoming transfers Erika Pritchard and Adanna Rollins have two apiece to give the Lions 10 as a team this season.

Watched the UCF-GT match last night. I got to say, it seemed to me that the level of WVB has been raised from a couple years back. It used to seem that watching non-majors meant watching a lot of inept plays, cringing at plays, shaking my head at plays. Last night was a good match with players showing lots of skill, talent, and intelligence. Yikes!
This morning St.J made the 3rd set a thriller, but too bad for them, UCF's Watson and Melville were lit. Watson was a blockaholic...wonder how she'll be feeling tonight?

ESPN+ is $6.99/month; cancel at any time. I believe you have to have a subscription of some sort to ESPN to get ESPN+. Not sure about that. But a ticket to one game costs more than $6.99. So unless you are a student I can't see how a fan would have a problem with paying for one month.

So unless you are a student I can't see how a fan would have a problem with paying for one month. You need to have a TV provider that carries ESPN. Mine is YouTubeTV. Once you have that, you set up an account, and voila, you can watch ESPN content. However, in order to watch ESPN+, you need an additional subscription which, as pennstate1973 points out, is $6.99/month for a monthly subscription -- cancel at any time (but you will be charged for a minimum of one month). I took the plunge after telling our cats, Pym and Rosie, that there would have to be some belt-tightening around the house for awhile to even things out. They did not pay much attention to that comment. Actually, they paid no attention whatsoever. |

Out hit them .442 to .286 and barely win the set. Five service errors to none for UCF. I don't think I can handle this season.
