This team is improving slowly but surely. I think they'll be pretty good by the end of the season. Maybe by then they'll be able to move up in ranking to #16!!

Stats for the match.
Hitting PSU .318 LSU .180 Blocks PSU 12 LSU 6 Aces PSU 3 LSU 2 Serve errors PSU 3 LSU 8 Digs PSU 48 LSU 44 Kills PSU 44 LSU 39
LSU blocking really improved in the last set. Then again, so did PSU's blocking.

Here’s a recap of Penn State’s sweep of LSU. Erika Pritchard led the Nittany Lions with a season-high 14 kills in the win.

You really do an amazing job. I know, because I used to a similar (though much less amazing -- and that's fact, not false modesty) job, and I know how much time and effort it takes. Thankyou!

I'm having a tough time following Russ's answer to the last question. Can you shed any light on what he was saying?

I'm having a tough time following Russ's answer to the last question. Can you shed any light on what he was saying? Totally a guess, but it seems like he's saying that Parker and Oerther -- the other players he's used as setters -- are more likely to be called by some officials for double touches than Gabby, so whether and how much he uses them in the "modified 6-2 or whatever it is called" depends, to some extent, on how the officials are calling the match. Of course, I really have no idea what he was saying, and am probably 100% wrong.

He was talking about something he learned so far this season and adjusting to officials has got to be a constant process.

Pritchard and Rollins looking better and better! It sure is nice to see someone getting more attempts than Jonni and hitting just about as well.
