Pritchard and Rollins looking better and better! It sure is nice to see someone getting more attempts than Jonni and hitting just about as well. Excellent point. Never good to be so dependent on a single hitter. Lots of interesting experimenting going on so far. This upcoming weekend likely will help Coach decide on his initial rotations and substitution plans for the "regular" season.

And sort of as it should be: OHs should be expected to carry bigger load because all passes can't be 3's.

And sort of as it should be: OHs should be expected to carry bigger load because all passes can't be 3's. Blossom may still be trying to locate the sweet spots for Pritchard and Rollins. As with last season Gabby is working with two very different hitters. It seems like Pritchard likes a fast set low and a little wider so she can hit a sharp angle or tool the outside hand. Rollins seems to like the ball just a bit farther from the net and a little higher so she can use her impressive jumping ability (against LSU Adana tooled the block really well). Hopefully even on less perfect passes, Gabby can give them the ball where they like it and the hitting percentages will go up.
