My brother is a big fan of PSU football. I always say that he'll watch any game to see who's playing and how they are doing. This match was the equivalent of that. The outcome was a foregone conclusion, but it's fun to see who came in and how they're doing.

You think WE have a lot of Ohioans on our roster? RMU has 9. Looks like Coach Starr must just get on the turnpike, cross the state line, and start scouting. A bunch are indeed along the I-76 I-80 corridor just west of Akron-Canton

Allie Holland seems (to my totally untrained eyes) to have a really fast arm, and to be able to adjust quickly to sets that aren't quite there. Thoughts?

If I'm remembering the point correctly, she hit from center-left straight through 2 blockers to nail a K. Maybe 3rd set? It was a shot reminiscent of Courtney who could go through the block with seeming ease. It's an Ohio thing? ; )) |

BTW: final stats show Parker w/6 assists. These aren't Gabby needs help assists, they're intentional let's have Jonni set assists. Maybe today's match showed the scheme Coach is trying to develop. Also: the AK-AH block combo. They're high. What a wall. Man, this is getting interesting.
