Allie Holland seems (to my totally untrained eyes) to have a really fast arm, and to be able to adjust quickly to sets that aren't quite there. Thoughts? It's interesting that you say that, cuz Allie was asked in a press conference about her game, and she said that she needed to improve offensively. She says that she's always been pretty good defensively. I know that Coach mentioned that she was pretty physical. She seems to me to have developed pretty quickly on the offensive side. It almost seems to me that she's better at adjusting than Hord. IMHO. A VERY uninformed opinion.

The bench got particularly excited when Quinn Menger made a dig and later a service ace. She seems to be very popular with her teammates. One thing I absolutely LOVE about the team cultural that Coach has built is that type of thing. Anytime that someone who doesn't play much gets into a game and gets a dig, a kill, an ace; the bench goes wild. The PSU women's volleyball team is so supportive of each other. It's really neat to see. Also, the PSU wrestling team has a similar type cultural. Fellow wrestlers are always cheering the other guys on whether they individually have won or lost. Cael Sanderson and Coach seem to me to have a lot in common regarding their coaching styles. Cael has a real dry sense of humor. It's also almost impossible to get either of them to take credit for anything.
