PSU WINSS!!!! 3-2. On, appropriately enough, a block by PSU. I was thinking exactly the same thing. Penn State's blocking won this match for us. |

Finally PSU starting to look like the team that played OH. Can they keep it up? We'll see. MD level dropped, a lot. True, but I think a lot of the reason MD's level dropped was due to better recognition by the PSU blockers of where the MD setter was going and the PSU blockers adjusting to the MD hitters. This in turn allowed the PSU defense to dig a lot more balls. The MD hitters became tentative after being blocked so much. |
