SERIES HISTORY - NEBRASKA• Penn State is 11-23 all-time against Nebraska in a series that began in 1981. • The Huskers won the most recent matchup in five sets in 2019. The match was played in Lincoln. The teams split the two matches in 2018 with Penn State winning in State College and Nebraska winning in Lincoln. • Penn State is 4-4 against Nebraska in matches played at Rec Hall. • The last four matches between the teams have gone five sets. SCOUTING NEBRASKA• No. 10 Nebraska is 10-3 overall and 4-0 in the Big Ten after posting wins over Northwestern (3-1), Iowa (3-0), Michigan (3-0) and Michigan State (3-0). • The Huskers have played just three true road matches this season, winning at Creighton and Northwester, and falling at Stanford. A little ironic Lexi Sun named to the preseason All-Big Ten team and now spends most of her time warming the bench. I saw Sun at some club tournaments back in her younger days. I thought she was destined to make the Olympics. Usually looked to me as far and away the best offensive player in the gym. I don't know what went wrong. To my knowledge she has no injuries.
Go Nittany Lions. I'll be watching.

Go Nittany Lions. I'll be watching. The top U.S. players usually look very good at that age. When they get to the NCAA and at international tournaments they come back down to Earth. The block is so much better at the next level. Those same players need to learn how to use the block and have to add different shots to their arsenal.
