You know I look at the gross stats on Ks, Assists, Digs...and it doesn't seem like a close match. Felt very different watching.
Although I loved the many many BSs and BAs from Holland, my fav sequence of the night was Pritchard's successive Aces. She was serving starting IIRC at 18-18 (set 3), a string of 6 serves the 4th and 5th of which were Aces. A couple of the earlier ones in the string set up relatively easy points. Didn't make UM look inept, but befuddled.

And the announcer described her serves as "fairly straightforward" or something like that, which apparently was not the way they were perceived/received by Michigan. I remember Pritchard from her freshman or sophomore season vs. Penn State, when her serve was deadly. BTW, I overall thought the Michigan announcer was perfectly fine. |

Didn't make UM look inept, but befuddled. Erika's serve has been a real weapon in the last 2-3 games. She is a REAL good server. Not alway a huge number of aces, but she is pretty consistent and puts the opponent out-of-system the majority of the time. |
