It's a nevermind if they learn from it. Otherwise, a wasted lesson. I wonder if the PSU team was beaten down mentally after the 3rd set at NEB. Don't know. I do remember another Russ Rose quote where he said, "Don't let a loss beat you twice." Put it behind you and go on. That is easier said than done.

Wrestling season can't get here soon enough. The wrestling team sure is fun to watch. And they seldom lose to teams/wrestlers that they should beat. It will be fun to see the new wrestlers in the line-up et all. |

Granted that PSU played crummy and sloppy. BUT, I'm SO glad that they ended up winning. SO depressing if PSU had lost. It reminds me of the "Lost Weekend" in 2010. PSU went to play Purdue, (when Purdue wasn't that good), and Indiana, (which I'm not sure has ever been good), in the same weekend and lost them both. Course, the silver lining there was that that year the PSU team went on to win the National Championship.

I'll be doing the updates tonight, but I'm not sure about the brilliant part.  That's gotta bite, not getting the games regularly. Can you get the games on www.volleyballworld.tv ? I know they carry B1G games. Not sure if they are live or after the fact. Can only get B1G games on Volleyball TV, they don't have the B1G+ games |

It will be fun to see the new wrestlers in the line-up et all. Might have a look at college wrestling on the ESPN Player here in England. It's a sport that is never covered on British TV or in the newspapers, even when it's part of the Olympics. The comedy, choregraphed version here was very big in the 60's, especially with older people who thought it was all real. Names I remember are Jackie Pallo, Mick McManus and later, Big Daddy. I wonder if there's anyone on here who remember any of them. If not try googling them! I look forward to seeing some 'proper' wrestling on ESPN |

Can only get B1G games on Volleyball TV, they don't have the B1G+ games I didn't know that. You can't get a B1G+ subscription in UK? B1G has only become available from this year, and I haven't seen anything about upgrading to B1G+. Volleyball TV is £7.99 pm but that also includes World Championships, Nations Leagues, Beach Tour and Italian Leagues so it's pretty good value. I tried subscribing to B1G+ last year using a VPN but when completing the personal details it rejected the English postcode and didn't let me go any further |
