Gillian Grimes, Katie Hurta, and 2023 Penn State commit Catherine Burke’s Adversity club program will be in attendance for Wednesday’s match in Evanston. So Penn State has to play Northwestern 8:00pm EST on Wednesday, probably fly home on Thanksgiving day, and then play Purdue on Friday at Rec Hall. Tough schedule.

I don't disagree, but back in the day, it was mostly the rule to play Friday/Saturday back-to-back, both at home and on-the-road. Plus, they travel charter, so they'll probably be home by 1:00 a.m. or so. Not terribly late if you're 18 to 23. Light day on Thursday. Walk-through on Friday morning. And shazaam. Rec Hall Friday night. I think they'll manage (the hard part, of course, is Thanksgiving away from home). |

Thanks, I didn't know they travel charter. Must be nice. Stanford travels commercial. Would you let us into your conference. With charter flights the cross-country travel would not be all that bad. Except our football team is so bad there's no chance of moving to the B1G.
I agree 1:00 am is not a problem for 20 year old kids. Now for someone my age, I would need a few days to recover.

Alexa Rousseau (NW's starting setter who got injured a month and a half ago) returned to the NW line up last weekend for their recent matches vs. Indiana and Michigan State.
I'm guessing Rousseau will be setting for NW tonight, as there are no updates on Sienna Noordermeer - Rousseau's backup who did an exceptional job before getting injured a couple weeks ago.
