Interesting. Listening to the 5th set broadcast, and Sunderland said that other than a couple of the regional semis, the rest were pickems. I was surprised that he put the PSU vs WISC match in the pick ems. I'm not sure that I would agree.

UCF had a higher RPI than us pre-match
Tonight's win bumped us up from 20 to 16 (UCF bumps down to 18)

BUT, this next match will be on WISC's home court, plus, I think WISC may have taken PSU a bit lightly after sweeping PSU earlier, which I don't think will happen next week. Who knows, I would be VERY happy to be mistaken. |

Wasn't always pretty, but I'll take it. Mission accomplished...this team has officially surpassed last year's, and that's a huge step. Ditto to that. Given what expectations were by some (many??) when Coach Katie's hiring was announced, this is an incredible accomplishment by the team, the staff, and those of us who believe in magical thinking and know that our good luck snacks before watching the matches were a major contributor  |
