A bit depressing that PSU out blocked by JMU. I thought that some of the middle attacks were obvious (by PSU) and therefore easily blocked.

Jess hit .339 (26-6-59)
Allie hit .500 (8-1-14a)
Trammell hit .250 (6-2-16)
Hannah hit -.111 (3-5-18)
Really need to get somebody besides Jess going on the outside.
Maddy had 13 digs, Jess with 7, Mac and Grimes with 6.
Taylor Trammell had 5 blocks with nobody else having more than 2.
Definitely need more consistency in siding out, as were way too many long runs by
JMU during the match. Well, hopefully PSU and Mac will adjust to each other and improve the hitting. Without looking back at prior matches, I think that Zoe had a better match than previously, tho she only hit .250 (8-3-20). Hopefully she can get back to where she was at the end of last season.

A lot to fix for the Nittany Lions, but a lot to like as well.
However, I come not praise the Nittany Lions, but to say: Hey, Student Production Team, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!!!!!!!
You missed two entire plays by lingering too long in replay land (and though I had turned the sound off because I just couldn't stand the two announcers, I did turn them on after the second missed play, only to hear one of them proclaim "Zoe Weatherington has such power, it's a pleasure just to watch her."
I believe him, but sadly I can't confirm from first-hand knowledge because, well, they showed us a replay of the previous play, but not that Zoe Weatherington play that was such a pleasure to watch.
Really, pick it up student broadcast team. Not a good job.

I was listening to the announcers wax rhapsodic over a PSU play that actually went to JMU. Took them 5-10 seconds to figure it out. Oh well. You get what you pay for  |
