It’s actually pretty easy to figure out if Penn State‘s gonna win or lose. You just look at the amount of sets to one particular outside hitter. If it is an exorbitant amount Penn State‘s gonna lose. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out you have to diversify the sets. Oh well, Everyone in the world other than coaching staff, and the setter knows this.

Another tough game to lose. However I don't think it's all that important for the NCAA tournament. PSU won't be hosting and beyond that it's the luck of the NCAA bracket what teams Penn State faces. If PSU is not in the Wisconsin or Nebraska region, I think it's feasible to make the final four.

Merritt Beason 27 kills Harper Murray 15 kills Bekka Allick 11 kills
If we didn't have Mruzik holding up the heavy end of the log, we wouldn't be talking about what bracket we are going be in the NCAAs. Everyone in the world knows this including the coaching staff and the setter.

Does Penn state have any chance to host ? Maybe, but it's a long shot I'm afraid. If they run the table from here on out, and some help from any top 15 losses, it's possible. A sweep against Wisconsin would get people's attention. |

Does Penn state have any chance to host ? Echoing @goteampsuvb - If we win out and there's TOTAL chaos in the WVB world... possibly. Realistically though, no. But the team still has something to fight for. How they finish up the regular season will determine whether they begin the tournament at a 3-4 seed with a reasonable chance of an upset victory, or at a 1-2 seed with a reasonable chance of an early exit. |
