The lift call that took the first set away from PSU was an amazing call to make against the home team. I seriously doubt that MSU would have complained had the call not been made.

I'm not shy about being a fan of Gillian, but Maddy sure has had some great digs tonight and in recent matches. How fortunate we are to have them both!

The lift call that took the first set away from PSU was an amazing call to make against the home team. I seriously doubt that MSU would have complained had the call not been made. It's an attack that's very common in the modern game, so I was very surprised to see it called a lift. In my coaching days in the 80's it was an instant 'carry' but those were the days when it was not allowed to volley a serve receive. And as for libero's.....what's a libero? |
