Match Thread - PSU vs. Kansas: Fri. Dec 1, 2023 6:30 p.m. ET

Did anyone else notice how much better the announcers were in this match in comparison to the students who do the B1G* announcing. The lesson to be learned for the students is, "It's OK to be quiet!" These two let the picture do the talking and only spoke to emphasize, clarify or add information. Throughout the season I have watched many matches on mute. This was a pleasure!

So true.  This pair of announcers seemed to have been doing KS games most of the year.  And were also quite knowlegable 

There was a pair of students doing PSU matches whose commentary wasn't too bad, but thought that they had to be talking ALL THE TIME.   It was so annoying.

The woman needs to be reacquainted with the past participle. Had ran. Had came. Etc. high vb iq wrapped in ignorant grammar. Guy was telling us what Mac was saying to the ref and, well … I doubt it. One of them was telling with assurance what PSU was thinking ummmm.  I could have happily settled for more silence. 
cameras went for reaction shots on players instead of watching for the ref’ signals. The talkers never. Never. Bothered to look. They made up stuff about why the whistle blew.  Truly. Come. On.
meanwhile, in this hs sized gym that shouldn’t have qualified for hosting, the score keepers in our set 2 didn’t notice that they changed sides and gave the wrong scores on the chyron up until about 4-2. After we finished their crack crew had the PSU score up for several minutes of the OU - KS match, causing me a bunch of confusion. 
would this.ever.happen in football? In MBB?

I hope KSC plays loud fan noise during practices in the gym this week, in order to help the team get ready for Wisconsin.
The Arizona Diamondbacks did that in preparation for the Phillies during the National League Championship series.
