Not sure where to ask this--and apologies if I ought to know--but were the jerseys with 7 stars new for the Illinois match or have they been worn before? I couldn't quite recall. Thanks.

IIRC, the Iowa match (01-Nov-2024) was the first time the team wore that jersey. For me, I'm still hoping for a "throwback" jersey from the 1999 Championship Match. |

Izzy needs to force more balls to the middle and right sides. PSU is too predictably left-pin heavy. I think that's one of the reasons for their struggles the past month or so.  |

Well, against MD Caroline had 23 attacks, Taylor had 14, Maggie had 18 while Cam had 28. Jess had 40. So as usual, much reliance on Jess but that is not all on Izzy. Until this match, the Out of System sets were all going to the OHs - Gillian even developed a backward bump set. But in this match CJ got several of the clean out the trash sets and scored. So perhaps we will see more balance going forward. Those doing the setting can't be criticized for setting those who have the best chance to score. |
