I think this is the worst our middles has hit all season. USC was doing a good job keeping track of them. And nobody with over .300 except Izzy.

Nice to see the team fight back when down late in the set like they were. I think PSU had just 1 service err (after a 6-1 run) where USC had at leas 2 if not 3 service errs in the last part of the set. Both team fought hard.
Edit: I didnt' think they'd be able to claw their way back.

Are we not entertained?!! I finally predicted the match result correctly - but winning in 4.25 sets was not one of the choices.
Special kudos to Gill whose block coverage was extra special (and a main reason why we had so many long rallies)

I would also like to commend Caroline for trying to vary her attack. She tried to recycle a swing early on, made an effort at a line poke, and also assayed an extra sharp angle shot. None of those efforts worked but she has the confidence to try to improve her game and that is important.
So far PSU is the only team to sweep the UCLA/USC double.
