I've ordered an in-home defibrillator.

I was exhausted after that match and the football game. Kudos to the team for toughening it out and not losing their cool. Bravo!!!

Had to laugh at all the comments on the last four pages. I couldn't watch the match live as it started at 3am UK time, so have just finished watching it on replay. Whenever I do this, I always make sure I don't accidentally see the time line at the bottom of the screen as it's often a give away as to the final outcome. This time I did see it at about 23-23 in the 4th set, so with only a bit of the timeline left, I knew we were going to win in 4. I was really angry with myself for this self inflicted spoiler, but looking at all the comments, I was probably saved from a heart attack. Great win, love those girls, but I wish they were weren't so prone to bad runs. They won't get away with it against Nebraska and Wisconsin.

A win is a win but I couldn’t agree more - that will not work against good teams. Coming home from a west coast swing with two wins is always a plus and I appreciate the comeback at the end of the 4th set. When you have the chance to close the lid on a set you can’t take your foot of the pedal. Nebraska will eat you up.

Off topic, but just wondering how many of you Nittany Lions fans also watch English Premier League Football (please don't call it soccer!!). I ask because Arsenal vs Liverpool kicks off at 4.30pm UK time. (12.30 ET?). They're always fiercely contested matches. My team, Nottingham Forest, are doing well this season, currently 6th, the highest they've been for years. I was in Munich in 1979 to see them win the European Cup in their glory days.

The really nutty thing about Izzy is, we as spectators, see the stunning plays she makes, but her teammates are on the receiving end, and experience close up the mind boggling LITTLE THINGS she does to set them up and her defense. I'm sure many times they're thinking, " I can't believe she just did that".

We can kvetch about this or that. Coach Katie’s laugh and smile after match point left that as the indelible shot.

It is interesting to me that Katie opted to insert Jordan Hopp into the fourth set when USC went on their run. She entered. USC served into the net. She left. But then Katie kept Jordan in the set throughout the overtime points where she made some key blocks to keep the point alive and forced an out ball on the point that put PSU up 29-28.
I thought she did a nice job for someone who has played very little this season and was inserted into a high pressure situation.

Jordan definitely had two touches that I remember-one pinged off her hands for a USC point and the second I think led to a dig. She was not credited with a block on stats. I saw Jordan in person against Temple. She moved well and had a slide kill. I thought the sub to be interesting too - maybe to try to change the rhythm or USC's momentum?

I thought it was a good move for Coach Katie to do. Jordan is talented blocker and a starter on any other team. I'm sure it got into USC head as a brief distraction as to what is Coach Katie up to. She had a couple of nice block touches and pop-up saves. Coaching decisions like that go a long way.
