There's a lot that can still be said about last week, but all that matters at this point is... Can't let one (loss) become two.
Hopefully the team has been able to get good rest since returning from Wisconsin, they know what to finetune this week, and they're ready to go on Friday. Let's go State!

I mean, it's still the same team. PSU is a really good, consistent team against middling teams, especially at home. I think we all believed that PSU could win it all, but realistically, Nebraska and Pitt are in a league of their own, no matter how much I hate myself for admitting that.

Just rewatched the 1st set against Wisconsin. 25-23 and really could have gone either way, then who knows how it would have turned out. Considering the huge home advantage of the Field House crowd, I thought our girls were superb in that 1st set. Just such a shame they couldn't maintain that standard, but they are still developing and gelling as a team and I believe there is even better to come. Nebraska at home excites me - in front of the Rec Hall crowd, if the Huskers are not 100% on their game, we will win. Just wish I could be there.

I too was waiting to see how we play against Nebraska at home, I think PSU can really be competitive in that match, but I was a bit disheartened with the performance of set 2 & 3 vs Wisconsin. I guess we have a chance to see how the team rebounds next weekend at home against Purdue, another top opponent.
