It's safe to say this will not be the same Purdue team we faced earlier. Nor are we the same team either. We and others have found out D1 teams have much more talent now, better coaching, and fan following. No longer are the days of playing Little Sisters of the Poor to pad your schedule. We are in the deep end of the pool now and I believe in this team. They are a tough bunch.

PSU plays 3 of the last 4 games at home. Only Rutgers is away.
They have a chance to end the regular season on a really strong note.

It's a huge game and a good win will set us up for the Nebraska game, which 100% will be a sell out. If I lived 3000 miles closer, I'd be there for both of them.

If I lived 3000 miles closer, I'd be there for both of them. Unfortunately, it's the Thursday right before a week-long Thanksgiving holiday break for the students. Lots of students are already heading home, so I suspect the student section will be less full than normal. The locals will show in big numbers, but it won't be a sell out. I suspect Rec Hall will be half full. I'm worried that the Nebraska match will have a huge contingent of Nebraska fans. I'm struggling to be optimistic about that match, as the mental block PSU has had for the last 10 years against Nebraska feels insurmountable. Thankfully they got over the hump with Purdue earlier this season, but I just hope the match against Nebraska isn't embarrassing.

There is also a Trans Siberian Orchestra (TSO) concert at BJC at 7:00. For those not familiar with TSO, they have been touring the US at Christmas time for 20+ years and are so popular that there is an east coast and a west coast touring group. That may syphon off some volleyball attendees.
