That may have been true -- and I suspect this year they didn't think they could lose to anyone. Carlini graduates with no National Championship Isn't she a junior? There's something about carlini I don't like. Yes she is a junior. She's been so annoyingly good it seemed momentarily like she was a senior. Wishful thinking on my part

Did the national team qualify for the Olympics?

Two tough 5 set losses and PSU in a deep hole. It's looking like Minnesota and Nebraska are going to need to carry the B1G flag toward a national title.

It's been a tough night for the B1G. I can see rooting for Minnesota. I like McCutcheon. But Nebraska...
Oh well, tomorrow is the best day of the year for Women's College Volleyball. The DVR will be running. I hope the games are good and that the commentary is too.
We've been very fortunate over the last few years. Tomorrow we can watch and enjoy just because it's a great game.

So I'd take her over anyone else, at this point. Hancock was better all around for her team and admittedly way more exciting to watch.

Congrats to Hawaii, the played out of their minds tonight. Did not have high expectations for Penn State this year. I'll be rooting for the BIG10 and USC tomorrow. Four teams from BIG10 got booted tonight.

Four teams from BIG10 got booted tonight. Hawaii did play well tonight. Because I've never seen them before, it's hard for me to say whether or not they were "out of their minds" good. Maybe PSUMAUI will offer us an assessment. My PSU expectations underwent realignment during the first Minnesota and Nebraska games. The high water mark was winning that long rally in set 2. Maria Taylor even thought that might have been the tipping point. It wasn't.
At least the season has seven more volleyball games.

I too am rooting for the BIG10 teams now. In order: MN, NE, USC, WA, FL.
