On Wednesday morning, as Mrs. Nyline and I prepared for departure for Christmas in State College, I wished one of the residents in our building a safe and happy holiday season. He said "I celebrate them all -- Christmas, Arbor Day, VA Day -- if it's a holiday, I'm there." I don't know this guy well (though he holds a nostalgic place in my heart, because long ago and far, far away, he owned a rock and roll club where I saw my first live show: John Sebastian opening for Neal Young and Crazy Horse -- but that's another story). I loved his celebratory fervor, and hope it somehow, through the telling, touches us all. Happy Holidays to you all. Your voices have, literally, made the conversation.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to the entire DigNittany Volleyball Community. But mostly, thanks to you Nyline for bringing us together. It's been a lot of fun and the future is exciting to contemplate. I hope none of you on the east coast are adversely effected by the weather. I wish I could send you some of the cold we have on the Front Range.
