Haleigh Washington: 2015 Volleyball magazine First Team All-American interview. What's interesting is that she talks about struggling with blocking late in the season, which several people made mention of.

She's says some really positive things about Tori Gorrell, regarding speed and swing.

She's says some really positive things about Tori Gorrell, regarding speed and swing. Haleigh Washington is incredibly poised and articulate. If she were a candidate for a job position, and interviewed for the job, I think most people would hire her for a non-sports job in a flash.

Very good interview, in terms of Washington's responses and the interviewer's questions. Her comments about trouble at the end of a long season make sense. In her freshman year, she only played regularly for the season's second half. Now she knows "what it takes." I imagine the coaches and trainers will be able to help her prepare--and she'll have a better idea of what her teammates need to do.
Thanks for posting.
