Pa. turns out very few female volleyball stars taller than 6-1. So when one pops up PSU has to take notice sooner or later.
Alex Amos, 6-2 OH, Upper St. Clair (Pennsylvania) – The Panthers were 27-7-2 in 2015 and Amos played a huge role in their success. She had 489 kills on the season while hitting over .300. She was the only sophomore to make First Team All-Western Pennsylvania and one of only two who made All-State in Class AAA. Club director Brian Begor said that Amos is a big leaper and strong attacker who is developing into a capable six-rotation player.
