The PSU Women's Volleyball Schedule shows that this year's B1G-PAC12 challenge will be at the University of Colorado's Coors Event Center. Colorado's schedule has yet to be updated.
I called their ticket office today and they were not really aware of the games--they don't yet have ticket packages and I don't think they've even gotten close to selling blocks of tickets for fans from the three visiting schools.
Here's what I know: The Coors Event center probably seats around 10,000--it's optimized for basketball. Single game tickets for normal volleyball games are $8.00 for reserved (seats with backs) and $5.00 for general admission. Older folks (over 55 or 60) can get general admission tickets for $3.00. The number for tickets is 303-492-8337.
I have seen a game there--UCLA vs Colorado in 2012. It's a nice venue.
I'd be happy to continue my "conversation" with the ticket folks if there's enough interest to try to arrange seats together. Boulder's a nice college town and there's lots to do in the Denver area if any of you want to make the trip. I can probably get you ground truth if you have questions.
Lemme know.

It's kind of a long drive, but boy I would love to go! Not likely, but if you let me know where you are sitting I will look for you in the stands.

You have the PAC12 Network? Yep! Is it possible to get a one-month subscription (or, better yet, a one weekend subscription)?

I haven't looked into online subscriptions. I know that DirecTV does not have it.

Always with the French! I may not be a slacker, but my timing's epic. Check this out: I moved to Colorado about 10 years ago, became a PSU volleyball fan in 2010, took a flyer on moving to Alabama this past December (why is complicated) (and planned to retire), found a job opportunity there in April and applied, sold my house, bought a house, and then got the job (cancelling my retirement). Toward the end of that roller coaster ride, I learned that Colorado was hosting the "Challenge." Now, all I have to do is tell my wife and family that this is my ultimate Father's Day, Birthday, and Christmas present for the rest of my life. ...Thinking about it, I guess in terms of planning, I qualify as a mega-slacker.
I want to make this work.

If I can finish painting my house this week, and get carpeting in next, on the market this month, may be in CO in time!! See y'all there.
BTW, not sure of the status of the Denver Light Rail to Boulder at this point. They did open earlier this year to DIA into Denver. If you go, you may want to check that out, as many more hotel choices outside of Boulder.

No idea where you're coming from, but Denver's prices have been going up for over a year--a seller's market. Hopefully you're coming from a higher value market. Denver's light rail system does not connect to Boulder. If you stay in Denver, traffic on a Saturday shouldn't be bad unless there's a football game. That could really suck, but I haven't checked. Just did. They play Colorado State on Friday night in Denver. Might be a lot of hangovers, but no football game traffic on Saturday and Sunday.

Just wondering if anyone is planning on driving out, and or thinking about driving out to the BIG-PAC12 Classic? Am considering it, and was just wondering if anyone else might be doing the same. Thanks.

Thanks. It's a fast 2,000 miles. Kansas and Colorado have 75-mile-an-hour speed limits. But take your time though Kansas and eastern Colorado--there's so much to see.

I do tend to go faster than I should...
