It's a fast 2,000 miles. Kansas and Colorado have 75-mile-an-hour speed limits. But take your time though Kansas and eastern Colorado--there's so much to see. I do tend to go faster than I should... Drive carefully on your return trip--especially after entering Kansas. You wouldn't want the State Police to think that you've picked up some weight in Colorado.

UPDATE:
Tickets are supposed to go on sale at 10:00 AM MDT (Noon EDT) on July 25th. Tickets are expected to be $10 for on the floor, $8 for reserved (with backs), and $5 for general admission. Fees for buying through Tickets West may be $1.75 to $3.50 per ticket. Purchase through the Athletic Department are reportedly at face value--I'll investigate. There are reportedly discounts for groups of 20 tickets (as if!).
I'll post as I learn more.
I am going and I'm very excited.

If you're lucky, I'll have my back to the camera. Don't know the TV arrangements. The one at Stanford two years ago was on the PAC-12 Network.

I reached Colorado's Athletic Department on Friday. The person I spoke with said they'll attempt to seat you behind your team's bench. Not sure how this will work out in practice--as one buys a single ticket and seat for two games each day. So, at the very least, at least two groups of fans will want to sit behind "their team's" bench.
For viewing the games, I'm thinking that sitting opposite the team benches would be optimal and likely less crowded. But, that would sacrifice the opportunity to see how the players and coaches look up-close and personal for two or three sets.
Thoughts? Or perhaps more to the point, does anybody on this site intend to go--or give a damn?

For the scores planning on going to Boulder (sound of laughter); tickets for the B1G - PAC 12 Challenge are supposed to go on sale on Monday, 25 July at Noon, EDT.
Just a reminder.
Personally, I'm halfway across Oklahoma in my return to the lands east of the Mississippi. It was 104 here today. This, ain't Colorado Dorothy.

Well, I got tickets today. The reserved seats were $12/each, not $8. I could have got row 2 behind the team, but opted for row three. Not so much because of the PSU girls being tall--after all, they don't sit on the bench. But the other teams have tall girls and they use the bench. The process was a bit long, but the individual helping me (Andrea) was very pleasant and took time to check about which teams will be sitting where on Sunday--apparently, it's presently undecided.
If you want to get tickets, call 303-492-8337 and press option 1 (even though it says it's for season ticket holders).
