Here's a link, I think, to the SPCPLDC site on YouTube to the 2011 USC-PSU game. Micha's first at setter. I don't feel too bad posting this link because it came from my dying DirecTV DVR. Credit for uploading it goes to PSUMAUI. I apologize for the uneven quality at the beginning of the recording and for the abbreviated second set. Nevertheless, it shows Micha's first service aces during her second time serving. I think the expressions of the players on the USC bench provides excellent foreshadowing for an incredible career. Next weekend, Micha's last game is on ESPNU. A nice Alpha and Omega for her career.
Enjoy.

Thanks gnu2vball! I was at that match (and the Oregon match). Unbelievably hot and humid in Rec Hall. Here are the post-match interviews:

I had the Oregon match recorded, but deleted it--too depressing. PSU really had trouble with Oregon teams in 2011 and 2012. Being at the USC game must have been amazing. Can't imagine that there was a USC fan wearing a sweater.

Can't imagine that there was a USC fan wearing a sweater. As Russ Rose says in the post-match interview, he thought it was the best women's volleyball crowd in his 33 years at Penn State. Sweater-guy was weird. Btw, is it just my tablet, or is there a video delay? ( sound ahead of video) [update: works fine on my pc -- it's my tablet/headphone combo]

For me, and on the DVR, the pre-game was disrupted--symptomatic of a dying DVR apparently. The game itself came through fine. Try it on SFPLDC's YouTube site and see if it works better.

Regardless, great match to rewatch, so thanks again. Btw, notice at approximately the 1:12 mark (21-21 4the set) -- Taylor Krause and Kelly Robertson were in the house. Also, I totally had forgotten what a monster blocking match Katie Kabbes had that night -- at least 10, according to the announcer.

If not, you have one heck of an eye for detail.
