Apologies for lack of links. I'm communications-challenged this weekend. Will have weekend Wrap up on Sunday. Maybe cross5 or someone can add?
My 2 cents: Howard will be the toughest opponent of the weekend (unless Clemson was playing possum on Friday-- they crtainly weren't consistently playing good volleyball). Your thoughts?

Still too early for most fans; Rec Hall is mostly empty. EDIT: Heck, even the GameTracker guys are still sleeping. No stats yet, but, to be fair, they're probably on the same budget as Nyline's Slacker Staff.

PSU up 14-10 in set 1. Detering hit right into the net. On the bright side, a lot of our back row hitters are making some nice defensive plays.
Wow! What a middle attack by Gorrell. She's is quick. Reminds me so much of another MB from PSU's days of old. PSU up 17-12; T.O. Howard.

no dig on PSU but the tallest player on Howard is 6' and is only one.

I like the fact that Detering used her middles a lot this set.
PSU wins set 1 by a score of 25-16. Sorry no stats yet.

PSU leading 16-7 in set 2. Things are getting out of hand; T.O. Howard.
EDIT: Looks like Howard is giving up (or playing defeated) at this point. PSU up 19-8 in the 2nd set.

I see more stick-to-it-iveness in this match.

PSU wins set 1 by a score of 25-12; PSU end the set with a ROOF block. Sorry no GameTracker yet. Stats and Slack staff still slowly sipping their large lattes at Starbucks.
