Probably, PSU's best effort to date. Very few errors.

Admittedly, Rutgers is no Hofstra.

Ali Franti had a very good game. According to game tracker, she had 11 kills hitting at a .579 clip. She looked like she was having fun.

Deterring had 4 of the team's 10(!) aces. Only 5 errors(?).

OK. I get it. It's the opening of Survivor's 33rd season. It's sad how volleyball pays a price to the ebb and flow of popular culture.

I just got back from work and checked the score on the PSU website and it shows a 0-3 loss. I attached a screenshot to show I'm not crazy. Whew!!! It's a good thing I have you guys to keep me sane. I was beginning to worry that the season is over. That is, if we had gotten swept by Rutgers (corrected).

Judging by crowd noise, like Marty Feldman I have photographic hearing, PSU had a more vocal fan presence. Of course, we know all about New Jerseyites' laconic tendencies.

I was beginning to worry that the season is over. That is, if we had gotten swept by MD. Thank goodness! I was questioning my value to humanity.

Looks like all the hitters did well. Washington's numbers were a little down, but that's OK.

It was Rutgers friends....and a really bad Rutgers team this year. Let's keep a level head.
