It was Rutgers friends....and a really bad Rutgers team this year. Let's keep a level head. Well, I can only say that after realizing we hadn't gotten swept by them, I let out a huuuuuugge sigh of relief. The good thing about this win is that it was clean and closed out strongly, which helps the cause. |

It was Rutgers friends....and a really bad Rutgers team this year. Let's keep a level head. "Really" or "doubleplus really?" I don't think we sent shockwaves through the B1G with this win. Nevertheless, the low number of errors was nice. It showed progress and the team finished well. This Rutgers team has losses to st.johns,Albany,Yale,NewHamspire,Cleveland State, Temple, Princeton, Seattle and Seton Hall. That being said......to quote Coach."It's not who you play but how you play" clearly the team played to a PSU standard and THAT is the most important thing. Also nice that virtually the whole team touched the floor in a single match. Nice feeling on the bus riDE home. |

OK. I get it. It's the opening of Survivor's 33rd season. It's sad how volleyball pays a price to the ebb and flow of popular culture. But where is The Amazing Race?! Suddenly in limbo. If they end up canceling that, I will lose it. (And shush on Survivor...I DVR-ed it...the Purdue/Illinois match had my attention after the PSU match)  |
