Match over. Frantti's best match since the home win against Michigan State.
That was a very clean win.
Oh's played 6 rotations.
Middles got a lot of kills and closed blocks.
We got runs of 3-5 numerous times.
Needed that win.

Too lazy to post the press conference now, but Rose was pleased with Ali's passing and digs, happy she got her offense going after struggling a bit, and thought Tori played well. Ali and Tori found Alisha and Christa's talk to be inspiring. More tomorrow.

Hitting 20 wins isn't a bad thing. In what I saw, the team looked good, Probably felt good to play in front of a home crowd.

That was Purdue's 11th B1G loss.
PSU will move into and most likely stay at the 4th place in the league going into NCAAs

Poor Purdue, gotta feel for them, after a very promising start.

QUSTION: on November 4 we played Nebraska at home and took them to 5 games. On 11/16 we played against exactly the same team and lost in three rather decisively. This occurred at their house.
Is this the 7th player syndrome ?
So the players appear to need the crowd support?

Also, MN swept us in MN both this year and last year. And we beat them in 5 sets in PA both this year and last year. Funny how things like that work.

Thanks for taking the time to go to the post-game pressers and being so conscientious as to report on all the questions and answers. Do you return home after the game or stay locally? And please pass along my thanks to Mrs. Nyline. She must be very understanding.

Mrs. Nyline is very understanding, and appreciates the thought.

When a team seems to be more productive at home than away what does that say about the players? We have had teams that faced ordeals when playing away and they seemed oblivious to the negative crowd noise? What does that say about them? Yes. I know that travel usually is difficult but what of those teams that appear to be able to ignore the atmosphere?
