florida out michigan state (tied w/us in BIG and ranked well above) out hawaii out OSU tied at 2-2 OSU won by 2. Michigan State was 13-7, we were 14-6, but their RPI was better. Go figure

What was Hawaii's RPI? I thought it was higher than ours. Minnie blanked them.

Incidentally, in set 3 last night, I believe the differential in hitting percent exceeded 600 points. Cannot think of a time I've seen a discrepancy like that. And Pitt was no slouch.

Talk about a thread getting out of hand on VT - they had to shut it down. Apparently, some Rainbow fans lack self control. PSU has been on both sides of that type of injury in recent years. In my impartial view, we've been exemplary in not blaming the other player/team. Can't say the same for some Wisconsin fans.

Thanks for going to so many games, recording and transcribing the comments, and bringing them to us. Given the availability of tickets at the quarterfinal sites (last night's announcer promised!), can we expect to see you in Lincoln?
