Who will win the B1G in 2015? Vote early and often. Actually, I think you only can vote once. I'm voting for Nebraska. Or maybe Wisconsin. Or maybe Illinois. Or maybe Penn State. Someone else vote first. Don't we have a secret ballot?

Nebraska will definitely have the most experienced group of starters and have such an advantage playing at home. It would be a mistake not to take them as a slight favorite. Of course, PSU has a history of playing best when it counts the most.

If PSU can win the early season match with Stanford they will be BIG champs.

If PSU can win the early season match with Stanford they will be BIG champs. Speaking about the Stanford match, one thing caught my eye during Penn State's last match with them in the Semi-Finals last season. Lutz, Stanford's 6' 8" MB liked to kill/dump the ball either left or right in front of the 10 foot line and Micha was ready for that pretty much every time Lutz tried that. This is something I will be watching for with whomever is our new setter(s). Even before Inky was injured, I thought we had a good chance of beating Stanford at home this Sep. Extremely difficult to beat us at home no matter what team it is. If we do win that match, I think it will be a huge impact to Stanford's moral and will affect them during the PAC 12 season. Anyway, my prediction is Penn State takes the BIG from 2015-2017(at least) To be the best you have to beat the best so I have a different opinion from the BIG 10 as to won the BIG last season. Would love to win it outright this year.

And Lacey too.

I picked PSU to win the B1G but if Nebraska or some other team like Wisc, Purdue or Mich State sneaks in, it could be a possibility.
All I'm really concerned about is the regional Final. Get to the Final 4 and the advantage swings heavily to the Russ Rose led teams.

So many of the teams in the BIG are potentially contenders, but my sleeper vote goes to Michigan State. With Fitterer, Gaverlink (highly underrated), Minarick...a very savvy setter, Chloe Reinig, and RS MB Tompkins, they have most of the pieces in place. Libero is in question having lost Moster. And schedule is tough, although only plays Penn State once, and at MSU. But they just might have the talent to sneak in and surprise many.
But for practical purposes and non-sleeper pick, my heart and spirit says PSU for so many reasons...many mentioned by above posts. Truly, if we can solidify our D, and we can stay healthy, there is no reason we cannot be right near or at the top come November.
Go LIONS!

Nebraska has seemed a bit dysfunctional during the past two or three seasons. Until they can get their act together, I'm going with Penn State. Illinois is the sleeper. Don't think Michigan State or Wisconsin will be in the top three at the end of the season.

I want PSU to win it all but must consider that filling the shoes of Dom and Lacey with either the sisters or the not known newcomers leaves me less certain of getting the desired outcome. The setting job has it's questions that only time and sweating in the South Gym will settle.
Losing a game early on(Stanford?) although not desirable could assist in finding the shortcomings and point toward a solution. The more coach sees when they are battling the more he can seek solutions.

This poll on a PSU site is as good as asking yourself is my wife/husband hotter than all of them.....yes of course. LOL

This poll on a PSU site is as good as asking yourself is my wife/husband hotter than all of them.....yes of course. LOL It's not quite the same as asking, "Who's your favorite team?" I noticed that one of the original votes for Nebraska subsequently changed to PSU. I guess the Forum generates a measure of peer pressure.
