3 out of last 4 matches have been trending downward. hmm
vs Michigan
A.Malloy 6 6 22 .000
vs TCU
9 Andie Malloy 7 5 30 .067
vs Minn
Malloy, 12 10 48 .042
total - 25/21/100 = .040
The reason I mention this is because Malloy was such a difference maker in our 2 previous losses to them . 30 Kills 7 errors 68 Attempts = .339
If Malloy struggles likes she has been doing the past few matches it could be very interesting .......especially because one of our best overall players in Frantti is CLEARLY trending upwards.
Ali Frantti - last 5 matches 57/7/126 = .397 !!!!

For the first time, I picked someone other than Penn State to win in my "Pick the Winners". I picked Nebraska. Now I am filled with regret.

It is hard to beat the same team 3 times in a row, and I have hope Frantti is on for this match.

Nebraska is the best team in the tournament this year and they will be playing with home court advantage as well. It's very likely that this will be PSU's final match of the season. I would give the Nittany Lions about a 5% chance of winning.
Still, 5% isn't 0%!

I would give the Nittany Lions about a 5% chance of winning. Still, 5% isn't 0%! Well, I got better odds than that! Bluepenquin predicts that Penn State has a 12% chance of getting to the final four. Not bad. |
