I haven't looked overly hard, but I haven't come across any rave reviews about Wisconsin's former setter in last weekend's Red-Blue scrimmage. A non-fan can hope. Right? Everything I've heard is that she's very good, so hope is fine, but don't bet the farm, or even the tractor.

I count 14/21 from BIG. 10 years ago, that would not have happened.
As to Courtney as a L: in pro ball, there are few substitutions and an expectation that players will play full rotations. You hear Karch complaining when he does commentating that the college form does not encourage players to become all-around players. Therefore, Courtney's numbers are needed not at L but at her hitting position.

I figured that Wing Spiker is our OH. Opposite Spiker is RS. But what is CAPS? Gibbemyer has 92; A Rolfzen only 18.

CAPS is more often heard in soccer. It simply means the number of matches in which a player has appeared. Apparently, Gibbemeyer has appeared in 92 USA Volleyball matches, while Rolfzen has appeared in 18.

Thanks! And what is the significance of "Selection?" Our PSUers have 7; one WI player has 0. Is that good or bad?

Looks like this trio has made the preliminary World Cup roster as well. Good luck, ladies! I saw something recently on Volleytalk suggesting Micha had been replaced by Wisconsin's former setter. It did show that Megan and Aiyanna were among the 12 on the roster. I haven't done due diligence on the USA Volleyball website.

Sounds like some volleyball fans are getting a little ahead of themselves. The roster is still TBD "Available in August" according to USA Volleyball. Good luck to all three: Aiyana, Megan, and Micha! www.teamusa.org/usa-volleyball/events/international/usav-cup/women-usav-cup/roster

Not sure what the posters on Volleytalk are talking about.
