Thanks for posting. The 2020 date might clarify things for some recruits, but which way remains to be seen. I imagine Coach Rose can answer the question, "Who will be my coach as an upperclassman?" when a recruit asks. No need for us to know.
Sad slip in reportage confusing Megan Courtney and Megan Hodge, but understandable.

Another slip is the statement on January enrollees. Lainey Pierce, Simone Lee and Ali Frantti enrolled in January 2014.

A link to this article in Volleyball Magazine(?) showed up on Volleytalk. It's some of Coach Rose's observation after the Brazil trip: volleyballmag.com/pennst-brazil-060517/

Coach's quotes in the VolleyballMag article are pretty funny. I did see an error in that Detering was credited as being on the team when Penn State won its last national championship. Also apparently, NCAA rules prevented some training during much of the trip.

I am thrilled by the blogs (volleytalk) in support of Coach having a much longer career... deep into his seventies. They believe our AD is the ONLY barrier. But she has not extended Franklin's contract either... and a wrestling coach's, as well. It is amazing that no new extensions longer than her contract... hmmm.

Can anyone confirm that supposedly Dave Hohenshelt is returning to PSU Women's Volleyball as an Assistant Coach? Heard this from two separate people. If so, who's leaving, if anyone?

It is Dennis, not Dave. I can confirm that he has rented a house in state college and will be the volunteer ASSISTANT COACH. All other information such as shoe size... unavailable. Marcos Santos, last year's volunteer coach, is coaching at a division 2 school in Florida and getting paid.
