So I saw Washington score on 3 slides and a quick. So that is encouraging. Sets for Reed were a little off. Simone Lee made both setters look like pros. Hitting 375% so far, which is just fine even against this opponent.

We are using a six rotation outside/setter! And our defensive specialists are the cheerleading squad! We have used 1 DS in both games. Indeed very different in many aspects from what we are used to. |

Honestly, I believe Russ told the girls to trade points for the rest of the set when he called the TO at 15-0.

Well some of the youngsters (wow did they look young!) got their feet wet, so that allowed UTM to score a point or two on errors. Note UTM hitting percentage was negative .192. We will see if Delaware and WVU fare better.

So Gorrell and Washington both playing with Washington on RS...wow No. Gorrell was forthe most part. Washington is a middle however in one sideout out situations you will see Gorrell /Reed (who are rightsides) run a middle in front of the setter and Washington run behind for the slide. If the get caught on a quick transition they just stay in those spots. |
