This was great. But next weekend, they meet again, possibly with Stanford at full strength. I hope none of us are in a mood to gloat. It's not gloating time (if it ever is). More like a sigh of relief

BTW, in case you didn't hear this nugget: Detering: triple double. Not sure when we last saw that stat. And 4? blocks.
It occurred to me that last year we were trying to figure out if she was the next Hancock. There's only one Hancock. But we seem to have figured out what Detering is and responded to that. So happy for what this does for the whole team.

This match reminded me of when we played UCLA in the 2014 Regionals. Lowe was pretty much the whole offense with 22 kills but it wasn't enough for them.

This season, with the way the seniors are playing, discombobulation isn't showing its face.

Considering they were up against a good team, this is cause for optimism.

4, count 'em, 4 players had double digit digs. I don't think I've ever seen that on any box score: Frantti, Weiskircher, Detering, White. Speechless.

Tree fell, made no sound. Play on homonyms "hear" and "here."
