So, the only "rule" is that anyone can start a Match Day thread -- and first in is it.
Ideally, put the date and starting time of the match in the Subject line, and include a link to the live stats and any streaming video or audio, if available.
Other than that, you're on your own. If you have the time to put in some interesting information (e.g. "It's a little known fact, but the total height of the players on the Team A roster is exactly the height above sea level of Tachikara Hill in Japan.")
