Could care less about Mussie.
She brought Less Than Zero (solid movie BTW) to the PSU program imo.

The Mussie termination from ASU is one of the enduring mysteries of the volleyball world. The truth usually comes out after a time, but I really don't know anyone who knows what actually happened at ASU. We may never know.

Northwestern showing why the BIG is a meat grinder. Really giving Purdue a hard third set in front of a good crowd, Cuttino is fun to watch.

Even the OSU play-by-play guy was having a hard time recognizing the Buckeyes tonight. Said they looked nothing like they did over the weekend when he said they were very low energy. Even with Appold out nursing a knee injury, their hitters had no problem.
I had a hard time recognizing UMD...did not look like the team that took down USC couple days back.

All three matches results in sweeps today. Maryland looked subpar today against Ohio State. Purdue looked good against Northwestern and Illinois won easily against Indiana.

Or is St. John's gym that intimidating?

Gametime for me is 5:00pm #10 Kentucky vs Missouri going on right now. Missouri takes set 1. Kentucky up 14-10 in set 2

USC takes set 1 25-21. Midway thru this set the put up the match-up between Penn State and Iowa and had Penn State #4. In what world is Penn State #4? ESPN bizzaro world? Currently, Penn State is #1 in three out of the four rankings. RPKI, Pablo, Rich Kern. #2 in AVCA. RPI doesn't come out until week one in October.
Unranked Hawaii(6-5) (78th in RPKI) needs UCLA to win this match. They also need, San Diego (7-3), BYU(11-1), Marquette (7-5), and Utah(9-2) to all have good records at the end of this season or risk not making NCAA tournament for 1st time in a long time. They could get in by winning their conference in the Big West but they will have to get past a tough Cal Poly (RPKI #24) team that is on a roll. (only losses are tough close 3 set matches with #7 Washington and #8 Oregon).
UCLA takes set 2 - 25-15 UCLA takes set 3 - 25-18 USC hangs on and takes set 4 - 25-21
#11 UCLA gets upset at home by #21 USC in set 5 - 15-11

Helps MD, which helps PSU after B1G season play, I'd say.
