I'm really happy that Kendall White got the recognition as the only libero named to the All-Big Ten Team.
She is such a game changer.

I am sorry Traveler but unfortunately I hate to say it but 2 cheese heads pulled the trick in 2014 That setter from cheese land won player and setter of the year while her team mate Taylor Morey won defensive player of the year. that aside congrats to our lovely ladies.

Well I am shocked I just went to the Penn State volleyball page and you are right. Iam just flabbergasted that the big 10 could snub the cheese nation like that. Lauren must be having a hissy fit, after all the setter of the year award was stolen from Micha. But she got the last laugh.

The moment I grew up and learned to never count on the B1G to do the right thing. I am surprised how well they did by PSU this year. |

Just a peek into the process for regional/national honors. This is copied from the AVCA site; their awards tab, AA- All Region - watch list sub tab has a bunch of historical info as well as this process info... Another tab had all the conference PoY etc info for voters to use.
IMPORTANT DATES
Wednesday, November 15 - List of AVCA Nationally Ranked Teams released
Friday, November 17 - Head Coach Membership Deadline
Monday, November 20 (8:00 a.m. ET) - Online nominations for student-athletes OPEN
Sunday, November 26 (11:00 a.m. ET) - Online nominations for student-athletes CLOSE
Monday, November 27 (8:00 a.m. ET) - All-Region Team Head Coach Voting OPEN
Wednesday, November 29 - Region Coach of the Year and National Assistant Coach of the Year nominations DUE
Friday, December 1 (5:00 p.m. ET) - All-Region Team Head Coach Voting CLOSE
Monday, December 4 - All-Region Selection Calls
Tuesday, December 5 - DI All-Region Teams, Region Freshman of the Year and Region Coaches of the Year announced
Thursday, December 7 (5:00 p.m. ET) - Deadline to inform AVCA of sets to use for video
Sunday, December 10-12 - All-America Committee Meetings
